Publications
The bank conducts studies on local, regional and international economic situations and industrial and financial activities. This enables the bank to limit the investment risks in countries and foresee the economic changes. The information gathered serves the staff of the bank in formulating policies and evaluating projects as well as managing the financial resources of the hank. These studies and research have helped the bank and its clients when undertaking industrial investments. The bank issues the valuable periodical magazine ‘Money and Industry” which comprises scientific articles and serious and objective news reports covering the financial and industrial activities in the Arab States of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The magazine is published in both Arabic and English languages. Another series “The Industrial Bank Newsletters” compose periodical researches that contribute to the enhancement of knowledge about current economic issues through different Arab intellectual perspectives and references. IBK has endeavored to enhance its educational role aimed at developing the economic culture in Islamic heritage and has continued to issue and publish several rare writings in Islamic economy. The bank has published several books, namely the documentary volume that deals with “The Industrial Bank of Kuwait Economy in Twenty Years”. IBK also issues a quarterly publication on the latest developments in the industrial activities in the region and an account of the industrial events and news. IBK maintains a specialised library, which serves the bank staff and both researchers and those interested in economic and it industrial affairs. |
